What do you like about mangas??

many peoples read mangas, but what is it that so addictive ?? for me, i like the fact that mangas character are able to do things we normally can't, also their facial expression. what about u??

For me that's definitely a part of it as well.  Real life is full of responsibilities and 'have to's'.....so when I read manga, I can escape into a fantasy world completely different from what I'll ever experience in real life.

When it comes to shoujo, there's usually a heroine who has 2 if not more guys fighting over her, wanting her desperately...now I don't know about you, but that's not my reality, so again it's a fun escapist fantasy.

Finally, the guys in so many mangas are really, really good-looking, so that makes reading mangas enjoyable.  Oh, and also, how often are they not only good-looking, but smart, kind (even if it's not obvious at first), usually successful....hey, it's all about fantasy but it's a nice diversion from the real world, when you feel like taking a break!

I like shoujo manga and mature shoujo. What I like in manga is the graphism (all drawings are so beautiful), I also like history of shoujo with a girl who have two guys in love with her and she go through many problems lol. Poor girls  .

I like everything about it!!! The black and white drawing, the story, the expressions of the characters, etc.
I wouldn't be so darn addicted to it if I don't like it...  :icon_cheers:

Many things!

1) Bishies! : Sooooo nice to look at them!
2) Interesting story lines: Its just so interesting to read the happenings even though sometimes a little unrealistic.
3) Beautiful drawings: I just love those double-meaning things that the character can say and their life-like facial expression which lends so much meaning to the manga story.

I like the characters portrayed in the mangas. They seem to be more expressive in the manga than the animes. Manga seems to be more interesting and better than animes as they have a secure storyline. The characters are drop dead gorgeous!!!
