Author/Artist: Matsuri Hino
Genre: Action, Drama, Romance, Horror, Shoujo
Status: Ongoing
Rating: 8/10

Summary: Yuuki and Zero, both adopted by the headmaster, act as a prefects to provide order and smooth transition between the day class and the night class at Cross Academy. The day class consists of ordinary students and the night class consists of beautiful and elite people. Unknown to everyone, the night class are all vampires, trying to coexist with humans. One of these vampires is Kaname, who saved Yuuki from another deranged vampire 10 years ago.

From this we explore the reasons why the vampires are there, what exactly does Yuuki and Zero's background entails and what is Yuuki to Kaname.

Comments: The plot is quite slow into developing although that seems to be changing in the lastest few chapters, this would be the only complain of mine. I'm hoping that this will change because I truly love Matsuri's drawings. It's a good read, because i find that it appeals to many audiences, from action enthusiasts to romance-lovers to horror fans. There is your typical ZeroxYuukixKaname love triangle, a bit of comedy and not to mention it is jam-packed with good looking bishies  :love5:

I hope it gets adapted into an anime series.

I hate to say it, but Yuki annoys me a bit.  She's your typical goodhearted, naive girl who's kind of helpless and doesn't seem to have much native curiosity-- in that she doesn't seem to know much about anybody's past, and doesn't seem to want to go find out who's who, and what have they done.  You'd think that in such a perilous world where there is a war between humans and vampires and between certain factions of vampires, and in such a precarious situation at the school, she'd want to find out everything and really do her best to protect herself and the Day students.

I guess I'm just not much for the passive types.  ;-)   Although the hot tormented bishies kind of make up for that.

Yeah sunako you're right. But in every manga there's always this girl, naive and goodhearted or cold and distant. So...

I watched the anime, it's exactly the same as the manga but I didn't really like it, don't know why...
